Gel polish
Standard gel polish is thin, cures under a lamp and gives a glossy, chip-resistant colour for around one to two weeks. It is great for a quick colour refresh but adds little strength, so it is best for nails that are already healthy.
Acrylic
Acrylic uses a powder and liquid to build hard extensions and dramatic length. It is very strong, but it is rigid, requires filing of the natural nail, and can cause damage if not removed correctly. Best suited to those who want significant added length.
BIAB
BIAB sits in the sweet spot: stronger and longer-lasting than gel polish, but lighter, more flexible and far kinder to the natural nail than acrylic. It is the ideal choice if you want durable, natural-looking nails and healthy growth underneath.
