Book An AppointmentWhat is BIAB and how is it different from gel or acrylic?
BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a soak-off gel that is thicker than standard gel polish. It is brushed on like a gel but builds a protective layer that strengthens your natural nail and supports growth. Unlike acrylic, it does not require harsh filing of the natural nail and feels lighter and more flexible, so it is much kinder to your nails over time.
How long does a BIAB manicure last?
With proper aftercare, a BIAB manicure typically lasts two to three weeks before an infill is needed, and many clients comfortably reach three to four weeks. Longevity depends on your nail growth and how hard you are on your hands, but BIAB is one of the most durable systems available.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. Gels By Liz is a fully mobile nail service — we bring everything needed to your home. There is no need to travel, find parking or sit in a waiting room. We set up at your kitchen or dining table and leave the space exactly as we found it.

We are based in Caterham, Surrey and cover the surrounding area, including Warlingham, Whyteleafe, Kenley, Coulsdon, Old Coulsdon, Purley, Oxted and Godstone. If you are nearby but not listed, get in touch and we will let you know if we can reach you.
How much does a BIAB manicure cost?
Our BIAB manicures start from £35. Adding a French tip or basic nail art is from £40, and advanced custom nail art is from £45. Gel or BIAB pedicures start from £30, infills from £30, and safe removal from £20. Final pricing depends on the design you choose.
How do I book an appointment?
Booking is done online. Choose your service and a time that suits you on our booking page, and you will receive a confirmation by email. Payment is taken on the day of your appointment.
Is BIAB safe for my natural nails?
Yes. When applied and removed correctly, BIAB is very gentle on the natural nail. It actually acts as a protective overlay that helps weak or brittle nails grow. We always remove BIAB safely by soaking rather than forcefully picking or filing it off, which prevents damage to the nail bed.
How should I care for my nails between appointments?
Apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails and skin hydrated, wear gloves for cleaning and washing up, and avoid using your nails as tools. Booking a timely infill rather than letting the BIAB grow out fully will also keep your set looking its best for longer.
